The Sourdough Project

A beginner cookbook from a medical student. Real science, zero intimidation.

Sourdough has a reputation problem. Everyone makes it sound like you need a chemistry degree, a rigid schedule, and a starter with a more consistent sleep pattern than you. Here’s my pitch: if I can fit bread between study blocks in medical school, you can fit it into your life. I’m writing a beginner sourdough cookbook, and I’m testing every recipe live on TikTok before it goes in. The method is one simple, repeatable process. Lower hydration so the dough behaves. Hands-on time separated from waiting time, because your starter does most of the work while you do literally anything else.
